Marqtwain the Vlogger? 0_0
Where to start. Hello, today is Tuesday, December 20, 2018. There is officially five (5) days to Christmas! Im super excited not so much for Christmas but to go home and relaxxxxxx. I need a mental break and these few days off will be love. Knowing me, I will probably get into something. I always do. Yes the title is correct. I have swerved into the vlogging lane. It is something I have always wanted to do but now I am finally doing it. I have always had a super creative mind, for instance, this blog. Lately, I have been into a lot of YouTubers from: FunForLouis, Missylynn, DK4L, LaToya's Life, and so much more. I look at the content they produce and how fun their lives seem to be. Not saying them my life isn't fun, that's exactly why I decided to post make a vlog. I have a lot f crazy adventures with friends and my boyfriend, I thought it would be awesome to share that with you guys. I should have recorded Belize, Atlanta (OTRII), and Las Vegas. (RT: When every I say where I went this summer I say Atl, GA, but I always to mention OTRII as if GA is OTRII okay back to the post.)My channel would be popping right now. I am so confused about which day of Vlogmas I am currently on. I have a lot of work to do still with my editing as well as recording skills. I can say that I am pretty proficient with the iMovie software but it is just the quality of the videos as well as the sound. My recorder of choice for now is (DruuuuuuuummmmRolllllll) my iPhone 8. Pretty crappy aye? So far it is working but the sound is so terrible not only my battery always being dead isn't fun either. Random thought I want to make a list of all the books I read this year too name a few: The Alchemist, The Hate You Give, Every Breath, The Notebook, Becoming, Elevation, The Road, The Rooster Bar, In a Dark, Dark Wood, The one in Cabin 10, The Woman in the Window, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, When Breath Becomes Air, and I know it is at least one more that has slipped my mind. I read that really smart people read at least fifth-teen(15) and I have. Woah,
chi-layyyyyyyyyyyyy. It wasn't a "task" because I l love to read. The hardest part was finding time to read between work, social life, relationship, and blah blah. But I look forward to winding down with friends. I will be spending this year in (wait for itttttttttttttttttttt) ATLANTA, GEORGIA. Yasssssss home of the gays lol. But seriously, I am going with my home girls La, and Key to fucked it up and maybe throw a little ass. This year has been the year of travel. But this vlog thing, I want it to be a little different than normal vlogs. I want to of course vlog but also have days were the vlog is a book discussion, over drinks =). I can have guest star in the video and have a great time. The format will be we will announce which book is the topic of discussion(TOD) maybe a week before and we have to read that book and be ready to discuss he next week. Like a hood book club lol. Because it will be honest af an open, safe space. Maybe, it can be livestream on YouTube. Ideasssss, a man can dream. So a goal for next year will be that. I can have a cohost Jordan Jones, and guest every week or every other week. Maybe we can even interview Authors if we reach that level of success. I want to interview people like Nicholas Sparks, Cormac McCarthy, Ruth Ware, Angie Thomas, and more. I am claiming it in 2019. But you guys I have one more day of work! December 21, 2108 is the last day of work for us. This year is almost over. I am about to cry forreal. Real thug tears. In a second my mind just went back to January 1, 2018 and fast forwarded to now. 2018 has been a real cunt. She beat my ass, spit in my face, and stepped on my white air forces ones. She was tough. Betrayal, deceit, a whole fool. This year is going to be better. I already feel healthier just eating better. I eating more fruits and salads instead on the fried. I still eat fried not as much though. I want to say thanks to all on my friends and family who have always supported my dreams. I knew they was real when I announced the Vlog and they all were like I am watching that now or yasss cousin =). The GOATS. Something I did this year different was made a list of the people I wanted to carry into the New Year. With that list I sent them all Christmas cards. The list consisted of maybe, just maybe thirteen(13) people/families. That is wild but it is okay, it felt actually really go to do that. 2019 will also be the year that this blog goes more public. I want to get it out there and have people see how it is being a double minority (Black and Gay). I am still out here breaking allllllll these mfs glass ceilings though, Whats up?
On a second conversation, what is the Holiday with the one you love. It is hard being in a relationship with someone who is from a different country. Not in the sense of, "Oh he lives in California and I am in Texas", but a different country were being who you are (gay) is not socially acceptable like it is in America. I love him dearly, but for the safety and to keep the family "comfortable" during the holidays is for me to stay in America. When there is a constant battle between do I spend the holidays with my love or my family. If you stay here you are consider, to a point, I a traitor of your family. If you leave your holiday is spent missing and worrying about your love. It seems to be a struggle. I understand it has been a long time coming and one day it will get better. In this relationship I am willing to take that burden next. I want to be the one to have to choose to stay home or go to the other country. It is not fair that my other always has to make the decisions of hurting someone feelings during the holidays. One day, I believe I will witness it when the time is right. Everything happens for a reason. But, can we all be a big happy family, SHIT!!!
Lastly, I want to say thank you guys so much for reading these post. I am upgrading the blog as well. I have my own domain (www.Marqtwain.com), and I am steadily spreading the word about it to as many people I encounter. I wish you all a Happy New Year and a Merry Christmas.
